I use it as a DAC through the optical in and it seems to work OK. No big issues with sound quality. I like the controls, they are nice and simple. You need to use the remote to access advanced features. The display and backlight of the VU meter can be turned off which is nice because they can be quite distracting in a dark room. It gets pretty warm in use – not hot enough to be uncomfortable to touch on the outside but still way more waste heat than I expected.
Clear and powerful sound! Beautiful design! I am happy to have bought this amplifier!
